86 The consolidation of a company, entity and sector is the result of multiple and constant efforts, whether individual or collective. And not always only by immediate members of these entities, but to a large extent also by partners and interfaces from other segments. The ANFIR Merit Award was created in 2022 to publicly recognize these contributions and encourage many others. The award is the result of the direct analysis by ANFIR’s board of the roles, actions, and purposes of executives and directors who directly or indirectly influence the growth and success of the transportation and industry ecosystem. The ANFIR Merit Award will be held every two years. The honorees of the first edition were named in November, during the Members Meeting, an event held by ANFIR at Fenatran 2022, in São Paulo. Francisco Pelucio, president of NTC & Logistica, and Margarete Gandini, director of the Department of Development of the High-Medium Technological Complexity Industry, at the Department of Industrial Development, Innovation, Trade and Services at the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services, were the winners. Gandini’s curriculum is extensive and includes serving as General Coordinator of Supervision of Automotive Regimes at the Ministry of Economy, Director of the Department of Mobility and Logistics Industries between 2015 and 2018, and General Coordinator of the Automotive Industry from August 2012 to 2015. Francisco Pelucio has been in transportation for many years. President of the National Association of Road Freight Transport – NTC &Logística - with a mandate until the end of 2023, he is formerly the financial director of the entity. Pelucio began his mandate on January 1, 2020, as the fourteenth president of the association, in a natural continuation of his years at other business associations in the sector, responsible for more than 65% of the circulation and distribution of products in Brazil. He was, for example, president of the then ABTF – Brazilian Association of Refrigerated Transporters, ABTI – Brazilian Association of International Transport, and SETCESP – Association of Cargo Transport Companies in São Paulo and the Region, the largest in Brazil in its economic segment. Y ni siempre apenas de integrantes inmediatos de esos entes, pero en gran medida también de aliados e interfaces de otros segmentos. Reconocer públicamente esas contribuciones y sembrar otras tantas balizaron la creación del “Premio Mérito ANFIR” en 2022. La premiación es fruto del análisis directo de los directores de la entidad sobre los papeles, acciones y propósitos de ejecutivos, dirigentes que colaboran directa o indirectamente para el crecimiento y éxito del ecosistema del transporte y la industria. El “Premio Mérito ANFIR” se realizará a cada dos años. Los homenajeados de la primera edición se conocieron en noviembre durante el encuentro con las asociadas, evento realizado por ANFIR durante Fenatran 2022, en São Paulo. Recibieron el reconocimiento: Francisco Pelucio, presidente de NTC & Logistica, y Margarete Gandini, actual directora del Departamento de Desarrollo de la Industria de Alta-Media Complexidad Tecnológica de la Secretaría de Desarrollo Industrial, Innovación, Comercio y Servicios del Ministerio del Desarrollo, Industria, Comercio y Servicios. El currículum de Gandini es extenso e incluye su actuación como Coordinadora General de Fiscalización de Regímenes Automotrices del Ministerio de Economía, Directora del Departamento de las Industrias de Movilidad y Logística entre 2015 y 2018, Coordinadora General de la Industria Automotriz de agosto de 2012 a 2015; entre otras funciones. El segundo homenajeado, Francisco Pelucio, lleva la actividad del transporte y el perfil asociativo corriendo en sus propias venas desde hace muchos años. Actual presidente de la Asociación Nacional del Transporte Vial de Cargas – NTC&Logística, con mandato hasta el final de 2023, fue director financiero de la entidad. Pelucio empezó su gestión el 1° de enero de 2020 como el 14° presidente de la asociación, continuidad casi natural de su larga actuación en otras entidades de representación empresarial del sector responsable por más del 65% de la circulación y distribución de productos en Brasil. Ha sido, por ejemplo, presidente de la entonces ABTF – Asociación Brasileña de Transportistas Frigoríficos, de ABTI – Asociación Brasileña de Transporte Internacional, y de SETCESP – Sindicato de las Empresas de Transporte de Carga de São Paulo y Región, el mayor de Brasil en su segmento económico.
