38 More opportunities every year - The agreement with ApexBrasil has led to several trips. In 2017, the Prospective Mission in Panama identified new business opportunities. In the same year, ANFIR also participated in AAPEX in the United States, introducing Brazilian expertise to the North American market. International consolidation occurred in 2018, with the first renewal of the agreement with ApexBrasil, ensuring continuity in export promotion. That same year, ANFIR took part in ExpoCargo in Mexico, and Expomina in Peru, and organized business rounds in Panama, Colombia, and, domestically, in Florianópolis (Santa Catarina state). In 2019, the sector, represented by ANFIR, held trade missions in Ecuador, Costa Rica, and Guatemala, consolidating its presence in the region. ANFIR also took part in Expo Proveedores del Transporte y Logística in Mexico and promoted and organized business rounds at Fenatran in São Paulo. International expansion continued in 2020, despite the Covid-19 pandemic, with business rounds in Colombia. Even at such a time of apprehension and uncertainty, it reinforced the presence of the Brazilian industry in the Latin American market. Following the success of the partnership, in 2022 the agreement with ApexBrasil was renewed, ensuring ANFIR’s presence at major events, such as IAA Transportation in Germany and Expo Transporte Anpact in Mexico, and business rounds in Peru and São Paulo. The exploration of new markets in 2023 saw ANFIR attending the Mid America Truck Show in the United States, and business rounds in the Dominican Republic, Chile, South Africa, Colombia, and Bolivia. In 2024, the agreement with ApexBrasil was renewed for a third time, and ANFIR took part in a business round in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, at IAA Transportation in Germany, and once again it attended Fenatran in São Paulo, the stage for new business rounds. ANFIR has been essential to consolidating Brazil as a relevant player in the global road transport implement market, driving innovation, quality, and competitiveness. With a successful track record, ANFIR continues to drive the industry forward and create opportunities for its members.
