102 2016 Facchini, which manufactures a complete range of highway implement for the transport of any goods, was one of the first in the industry to adhere to the certification. “The Seal is required by more and more carriers for large national groups,” says José Carlos Vidoti, sales director at Facchini. “The ANFIR Seal offers transport companies credibility. If a company does not have the seal it can no longer provide services for large conglomerates, such as BRF,” says Vidoti. With ten plants, Facchini has a national presence through 30 subsidiaries and six third-party distributors. BRF initially required the seal only for distribution service providers (vehicles that take products from the distribution center to their final destination, such as supermarkets and other commercial establishments), then it extended the requirement to transfer highway implements. This year it added body-on-chassis builders that transport products from farms to factories. Specializing in refrigerated transport, Ibiporã says the ANFIR Seal is recognized on the market and is required by major chains and it establishes requirements that companies must satisfy to stay competitive in the market. “The ANFIR Seal adds value to the business by requiring that companies comply with municipal, state and federal agency requirement. In other words, companies have to be at a different level in terms of organization,” says the commercial director of Ibiporã, David William. The ANFIR Seal means that Ibiporã has adopted the principles required. “We can say it has changed the way we handled organization internally,” says William. Headquartered in the metropolitan area of Londrina, Ibiporã manufactures vans of all types and models, whether for refrigerated transport, superfrozen products, dairy products, palletized loads and loads in general, as well as agricultural implements.
