O desaquecimento das vendas está presente desde janeiro e muitas empresas deverão realizar balanços negativos. Para alguns, seria o pior momento para se celebrar o aniversário da entidade. Mas não é. Situações difíceis já foram enfrentadas no passado. Algumas motivadas pela falta de reconhecimento do setor como peça fundamental do desenvolvimento do Brasil, e outras, pelo descompasso da economia. No caso da primeira, já pertence ao passado distante o tempo em que o setor era desconhecido. Ao contrário, ao longo desses 35 anos de trabalho a ANFIR soube apresentar o segmento, ocupar seu espaço devido perante governos e mercado e consolidar a imagem da indústria de implementos rodoviários como indicador de crescimento econômico nacional. A respeito do descompasso da economia, não é a primeira vez que isso acontece. Um desequilíbrio dos negócios da magnitude do atual é, de fato, um problema, mas não representa o fim.
